This article examines the reinterpretation of public theology through the ecumenical movement's contribution to social cohesion in multicultural societies, specifically through the implementation of the church's threefold calling: koinonia (fellowship), marturia (witness), and diakonia (service). Using a qualitative approach with hermeneutical analysis, this study examines how the three dimensions of church mission can be reconceptualized as strategic instruments for fostering interfaith dialogue and strengthening social bonds. The findings indicate that the ecumenical movement, when actualized through contextual public theology, significantly contributes to reducing social fragmentation and enhancing mutual understanding among diverse religious communities. This reinterpretation shifts the church's role from an exclusive religious institution to an inclusive social agent that promotes justice, peace, and reconciliation in pluralistic contexts.
