Estetika Sanggit: Perjumpaan Tradisi Modern dalam Paradigma Kekaryaan Seni

Abstract

Artwork with an aesthetic concept approach in the paradigm of the modern-tradition encounter, hereinafter we will call it "aesthetic of Sanggit". As a paradigm for meeting modern traditions in the creation of works of art. In today's era of globalization, we are faced with two main problems in terms of culture; on the one hand, we are required to progress (progress), on the one hand, we are required to preserve the cultural heritage that has been established. Artwork with a Sanggit aesthetic concept approach produces: First, the phenomenon that appears as a Sanggit revitalization work, vitally still refers to traditional art as the main reference. Second, the phenomenon that emerged as the work of reinterpretation of Sanggit. Traditional idioms are the result of reinterpretation, which are combined structures using modern exposition techniques, so there will be various versions of styles according to the results of the reduction of the artist's processing. Third, the phenomenon that appears as a work of abstraction/expression of Sanggit. The traditional idioms depicted no longer represent certain idioms but as a form of the symbolism of inner personal life.

 

Abstrak

Karya seni dengan pendekatan konsep estetika dalam paradigma perjumpaan tradisi-modern, selanjutnya kita sebut ⬝estetika sangit⬝. Sebagai paradigma perjumpaan tradisi modern dalam penciptaan karya seni. Pada era globalisasi dewasa ini kita dihadapkan dalam dua persoalan pokok dalam persoalan budaya; satu sisi kita dituntut untuk maju (progress), satu sisi kita dituntut untuk melestarikan warisan budaya yang telah mapan. Karya seni dengan pendekatan konsep estetika sangit, menghasilkan: Pertama, fenomena yang muncul sebagai karya revitalisasi sanggit, secara vital masih mengacu seni tradisi sebagai acuan pokoknya. Kedua, fenomena yang muncul sebagai karya reinterpretasi sanggit. idiom-idiom tradisi hasil reinterpretasi, merupakan struktur paduan dengan menggunakan teknik pembabaran modern, maka akan terjadi berbagai versi gaya sesuai hasil reduksi pengolahan senimannya. Ketiga, fenomena yang muncul sebagai karya abstraksi/ekspresi sanggit. Idiom tradisi yang dilukiskan bukan lagi mewakili idiom tertentu tetapi sebagai satu bentuk simbolisme kehidupan personal bathiniah.
